Juneteenth Observation with Outdoor Afro
This Juneteenth, we’re going outside with Outdoor Afro for 2.5 hours to reflect on the 2.5 years Black people in Texas were not informed of their freedom after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.
More than 30 companies, foundations, and public park agencies will join in by registering on Outdoor Afro's site, going outside, then returning to the site to share their reflections.
As we spend our time outdoors, we’re reflecting on what it means to be free in America. We encourage everyone to register and share their reflections with Outdoor Afro http://bit.ly/JuneteenthReg
