Community Pizza Night to benefit Maine Grain Alliance
Join us on Wednesday, December 20th for a Community Pizza Night to benefit Maine Grain Alliance. 20% of all food sales from 4-8pm will be donated to support their work in inspiring and empowering people who are building local grain economies.
Beginning with the first Kneading Conference in 2007, the Maine Grain Alliance has provided opportunities to learn and share how best to grow and use grains to thousands of individuals across the world. The Maine Grain Alliance promotes beneficial uses of grain for good health, food independence, and purposeful jobs within viable communities.
They connect people and support the economic, environmental, and nutritional importance of establishing regional grain economies.
Anyone who attends can drop their name in a hat for the possibility of winning an MGA t-shirt, apron, a raffle ticket for an Ooni oven, and a free grain education workshop. For those unable to attend, you can still support the work of Maine Grain Alliance by entering their Ooni pizza oven raffle via their profile.
Additionally, our friends and neighbors Toad & Co. Freeport have generously donated a Men's and Women's Campo Fleece Pullover to be raffled with 100% of proceeds going to Maine Grain Alliance.
