Community Pizza Nights
What is a Community Pizza Night at Maine Beer Company?
Community Pizza Nights highlight nonprofit organizations that serve or impact Maine people. We host a variety of organizations with different missions on Wednesday evenings between Labor Day and Memorial Day in an effort to spread awareness and encourage community engagement.
How does it work?
From 4pm to close on the date of your Community Pizza Night, representatives of your organization are encouraged to table in our tasting room to engage with the community. We will donate the equivalent of 20% of our food sales (including to go) during that time to your organization.
Sign-up for the 2027/2028 season will open the first week of August 2027.
Information on how to sign up will be emailed directly to our list of organizations in late July of 2027.
Tips for a successful Community Pizza Night:
Promote your night to your community — use social media and your email newsletter list. Be clear about the timing (the date and that the evening runs from 4pm to close) and encourage your audience to make a reservation, as we do not offer open seating. We operate as usual with the bonus of hosting you for the evening.
Your setup:
• Arrive, day-of, as soon as 3:30pm to get situated.
• We supply a standard sized folding table (6 or 7 feet by 2.5 feet) and two chairs for your organization next to our front desk.
• We can provide a black tablecloth on request.
• Showcase your organization with pamphlets, swag, or other visuals.
• Avoid A/V presentations — unless it is a slideshow in the background.
• You may hold a raffle.
• Feel free to sell merch using your own POS — wifi is available.
• No need to stay set up all night if you feel things are slowing down.
